The Brightening Skin Health Ritual targets accumulated melanin deposits, brightens, and assists with regulating the future production of pigment. The combination of ingredients increases cellular turnover promoting new skin growth and removal of damaged cells.
It is important to note that once pigmentation has been instigated via the sun, hormones, topical applications (yes! Some ingredients you apply cause the problem to worsen!) or other, that the melanocyte coding is forever there. We can most definitely brighten, even, minimise and rejuvenate but it’s wrong to claim that pigmentation can completely be removed. If we have direct sunlight exposure even whilst wearing 50+ SPF, old pigment can be reignited.
